Raising chicken in Mogadishu, the way it should be done
Digaag Poultry Farm exists for a simple reason: people should be able to buy chicken and know exactly where it came from. Too much of what is sold has passed through several hands before it reaches a kitchen, and by then nobody can tell you how the bird was raised or when it was slaughtered.
We raise our birds ourselves, here in Mogadishu. We prepare them to halal standard on our own site, and we deliver them fresh. Nothing is bought in from a market and resold under our name.
